Does anyone else have a problem playing on Sundays? I hate Sundays with a passion. I don't know why. It's probably all psychological, but I just feel so tired and drained and it takes a huge amount of effort just to get up to the table. I did everything I could yesterday while playing to regain some energy, but I just sucked. I ate a little, drank coffee, had a red bull. All to no avail.
Anyone else have days where they just can't play?

Nah the playing Sun"Day" is alright. But as Fred says, Monday morning and Wednesday morning after late pool tourneys on Sunday and Tuesday are killing me. Like last night got home at 1:30 after winning a double-elim single game 8-ball tourney and have to get up at 5:30. Tough price to pay for $90. Thank god for Red Bull.

Tuesday's, Thursday's, and Saturday work are usually my toughest, all because of pool.

Sunday(afternoons) are about my best time. I don't get tired Sundays until evening approaches, and that is because I'm starting to dread Monday morning alarm clocks...sid

A bad day at the pool hall is still BETTER than anyday at work.

I don't have specific days just times of the day, I can never shoot in the morning say before noon, but as the day progresses I seem to shoot better and by the time darkness hits I'm shooting my best, maybe it's all in my head but I think I shoot better pool at night.

Sounds to me like Sunday may be ok if Saturday night was not so late.As I get older, I don't play very well when I'm tired, which is most week nights now.I get up at 5am everyday now and play real good until the clock says pm on it.To bad I can't find anyone to play in the morning ha-ha.
Oh the joys of getting older!

Sunday is a good day, the room is usually more quiet and calm. I like that.

If Im not playing on sunday I must not have been doing my job. Sundays are when the cream rises to the top the masters dominate, and the rest are spectators. Oh by the way sundays are the 3rd day of our 3 day casino tournaments. ~~Jon from Mn

playing on sundays is the best day out of the entire week for me to play, that seems to be the only day that i can get good 1p & sp games. other than that am fine with the rest of the week, i usually shoot from 11am/12pm untill about 6pm on sundays.

Absolutely! There's something genuine anout walking into the room, seeing the familiar bartender tossing a wave, "your game" warming up on the usual table, the click of colliding pool balls, and then you notice a nice thing...SILENCE! sid
