View Full Version : Refurbishing Gold Crown I
I recently purchased a 1963 Brunswick Gold Crown I pool table that is in very good condition. Should I choose to look for table parts/hardware, can anyone suggest a parts house that carry a good number of parts for older Brunswick tables?

If you don't have a local dealer,try Brunswick - (262)857-7374 - (800)336-8764
Mueller Recreational Products and Saunier Wilhem Company are the ones that I have catalogues for. You can get to their on-line stores.
Mueller is: www.poolndarts.com (http://www.poolndarts.com)
Saunier Welhem is: swcbilliards.com
You can contact Steve Wilson of Mueller at 402.423.8888 who I believe is involved with table restoration. There are many other sources including Seybert's, English Darts and Billiards, Shamrock Billiards and Hood Leather Goods to name a few. Start with Mueller since they seem to specialize in older tables and have reasonable prices.
You might be interested to know that Mark Kulungian of Pool Table Magic who deals in all collectible billiard products was speaking to a GCI owner and suggested that his table would sell for at least $3,000. The owner was simply speculating on whether his table, which was in good condition but not a museum piece, might be worth $2,000.

Another possible source is www.billiardsexpress.com (http://www.billiardsexpress.com) They have good prices on Simonis, cushions, tools, etc. and stock some parts for older GC's - depends on what you need. Call 1-800-540-1761 and talk to Chris.

I would agree with using Mueller. I have used them for the last 6 years getting parts for my GC's and they have always had what i need.

You can also contact John Palmer at On the Level Billiards
He is refinishing a GCI for me now. He seems to have reasonable rates.
