Well guys, after a long hiatus, I'm back hanging on the CCB. Got laid off a couple of weeks ago, and have plenty of time back on my hands. Not one to let the grass grow, here's what I got cooking up in MN:

Startin' up a Upper Midwest WPBA Regional Tour, centered in MN and WI. Have great support already from the casino tournament promoters, so we should be pretty healthly out of the chute. If you want to get an a mailing list for this, shoot me a message on the CCB wire.

Also, worked out a deal with Magoo's Billiards in Tulsa to offer on-line entry via credit card into the WPBA Amateur Nationals Aug 1-3. You can enter on-line at www.mnbilliards.com (http://www.mnbilliards.com) -->Tournaments -->Specific Date/2003 August Tournaments -->WPBA Amateur Nationals.

Other than that, I missed you guys...

Hi SPG! I'd be definitely interested in getting some more info on this tour. WI's not too far, and not sure how many tour dates I could make, but it's a start anyway. Sounds like you've been quite busy lately.

Was busy, working the day job, the nite job (mnbilliards.com), kids, and playing. Ran a small Twin Cities handicapped Ladies tour over the spring, and it did really well.

I wanted to include tour stops in IL, but felt that it would be stretching thin to try an ensure tour stops in all states. But now that the day job is gone, and I'm looking at more time flexible job options, it may not be a stretch.

So you're in Jesse Bowman country, huh? We had the pleasure of having him and Chad Vilmont in our league in the Twin Cities a couple of years ago. Those 2 can really hit balls well...

Jesse and Chad can hit them pretty good. Jesse didn't fair too well at Vegas this year, but that was to be expected. Haven't seen or heard much from Chad lately. Chris is the one who does all the socializing, LOL.

Tour stops in IL come once in a great while out here. Most, I believe, are in and around Chicago, which is a 2 - 3 hr drive for us. One of these days, when things get settled here and I'm able to shoot more often, I'll make sure I get up there. I'm looking forward to it.

Take care,

Heide
