The thread with the post about ####'s art (http://www.billiardsdigest.com/ccboard/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=ccb&Number=82058&page= 0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=93&vc=1) takes a long time to load so I'll start fresh.
Quote #### leonard:
...go to this site to see my artistic ability.

6. scroll down to Richard "Van Gogh" Leonard

Nice flowers, ####.

Have you considered doing any drawings around the poolroom? That would be cool. The subject has been underexplored in the fine arts, and we could stand more culture in the average pool hall.

Maybe some PH owners would buy them and hang it in their room.

If you want to branch out from still lifes, I can be available for posing and maybe I can talk some others into it also. (Road Trip!! /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

Dick,
Well I'm certainly no art critic but I know what pleases my eye. Very nice work. I agree with Tom, Maybe you should paint some pool room scenes in the same style. (I can hardly paint a house). /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Because wading through the links takes awhile:

Really nice stuff, #### (I consider watercolors hard to do well).

Thanks for the post, as for painting the poolroom scene I sat next to Leroy Neiman in the bleechers at the 1963 Worlds Touney watching him work. I have his collection book with the painting in it. Maybe I might have to start branching out from flowers. I have to find some old pool pictures that could be adapted to paintings.####

Heater your right about watercolors, in oil when you make a mistake you just paint over the mistake. I should have kept up with art, pool just de vowers life. ####

Thank you so much friend. As you know, my computer was attacked by a virus, and there were only two things I lost that really upset me, the last ten chapters of my book which had not been put into a zip file yet, and the files you had sent to me of your watercolors. Thank you ever so much. I LOVE your work, truly...
Love,
Gayle In Md. XOXOXOXO
