On our way out from dinner, MikeM and I were talkin about music. Not strange to see he had good taste in music so I lent him a "James Gang" CD...featuring Funk #49 <a true classic>. I recieved a package from Virginia today thinking it was just my CD...it was with 4 others with featuring Frank Marino, Robin Trower and Pat Travers...I tell ya this man knows his music.

<blockquote><font class="small">Quote Voodoo Daddy:</font><hr> You too WESK...I never forget acts of kindness!!
<hr /></blockquote>Are you remembering what I'm remembering? 'Cause if you are, Wes and Mike are the best!

I agree VooDoo... WesK is an equal to Mike as far as I am concerned.. I too, never forget acts of kindness and generosity.
Can't wait for the US Open for the CCBII tournament.

Glad you like 'em big man. I've been listening to a lot of great '70s and early '80s guitar rock lately. Nothin' like it.
Now we'll have to work on Naz and Qtec's musical education! I know Wendy can help.

Does that have "Walk Away" on it as well?
(Had a friend w/ a comp CD from a Cali station--99.9 KTYD, to be exact, that had that song on it--haven't heard it in years. . . .)

I think "walk away" was on the "James Gang Thirds" album
But, "The James Gang Rides again"
has my favorite CLASSIC...
Joe Walsh... made me take notice of the Eagles..

Yes Walk Away is on Funk #49, also a compilation.

"James Gang Rides Again" <---- one of my first albums inherited from my sister going to college.
Funk 49<---- one heck of a reason to learn to play guitar.
Okay, so what's the rest of the play list? I need to make some lists for my better half to burn some cds for me.
Barbara~~~plays air guitar better than the real thing...
I try to call Mike and Wes every Wednesday (I know they are in the same room) to chat it up for a little. 2 nicer guys? Probably not.
Kato~~~has been on the receiving end of the Mike/Wes Kindness Train more than once.

Hey Tom, Joe Walsh WAS and IS the Eagles! Trower and Travers are some real good listening also.

I will agree that Walsh makes the EAGLES complete but without DON FELDER <the real guitar player of the two> the EAGLES are nothing more than a bunch of older guys beating us for a $175 ticket. Trower and Travers on the other hand have been reduced to playing small rock clubs if they get the gigs at all. I for one love them all and will go to see them on the "Geritol Tour '03"...HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!
All this love is going to make me puke.
Come on folks, we are ALL good people here... really.
I'd pay to see that.
Kato~~~knows a few things about Wes and Mike's recent pool "prowess"

Hey Voodoo, I have set up many major acts and played in my share of bands. Being a teen in the 80's was the bomb. /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif I have really come to notice though in later years<late 20's early30's> /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif that some of the best ways to see or hear an older act is in the smaller nite clubs vs. the large arenas. You get to see so much more detail this way.
That hurt. So much for love.
Well it's pretty out here in the Commonwealth so I think that I'll go for a drive... Maybe stop by the PH and practice some...
Practice? I don't need no stinking practice.
It's raining here in not so sunny Ft. Lauderdale. Guess I'll spend my afternoon cleaning, changing my locks, painting my closets, and changing out a couple of bathroom sinks.
Kato~~~has been double stamped, triple sworn to secrecy over WesK's game.
PS. Say hi to Tram for me you lucky devil.
