Status of U.S.Open 9 Ball in Chesapeake Va. ????

Does anyone know if there will be a 2003 U.S. Open 9-Ball (Chesapeake, Va.)Tournament this year ?? Rumor has it it may not be held this year? Anyone know for sure.
