View Full Version : Pool Chat Forum.???

There seems to be a need for a "Chat forum" I've noticed that when posters catch a thread and find that there are quick responses, there is a chain reaction of posts. This is not a bad thing, but I would think that (pool or non-pool related) the chats would generate more interest and not clog up the BBS server with archieves posts
Just a thought.. would anyone be interested in a pool related CCB Chat room?

I think it is a good idea.

The EPT has one and I have used it the past, but has gone by the wayside. But it is fun and the idea of quick response is better than waiting for posts.

Yes, but open chat. I have trouble getting to the ones that are scheduled only for a certain time like 8pmest.
Maybe some of us would get to know each other better, faster feedback and argue less. /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You must have Yahoo installed (free) to get to the chat rooms. Anyone with Yahoo can create a chat room. Let's just keep the title "CCB Chat" common, so that anyone can create this room anytime and have a group chat going.
Yahoo Chat rooms, Recreation and Sports, "CCB Chat"
You have to create this room 1st. If someone has already created the room, then just "join" in.

Join the chat right now as Tom advised above. See ya there.

I'm a little bummed. My work computer won't load Chat 2.0 and even though I have a Yahoo account I'm shut down.

That's too bad, CrispyFish and I just chatted for a bit. Good idea for sure. I'll tlak to my brother and see if he'll upload a free chat service onto his server.

Try the Java version. I had trouble with Chat 2.0, too.
Okay, back to work, but I'll definitely be checking this out again! /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
