View Full Version : Brunswick v. Olhausen

I am interested in purchasing an 8' Brunswick or Olhausen for my newly finshed basement. Any opinions/advise on comparing specific models from these two brands is welcomed. My goal is to stay beneath $4,000. A basement tends to be the most damp part of any home. Info/experience with wear on "all wood" vs. "vaneer" is appreciated. Also comments on good accessory packages would be helpful.

I recommend the Olhausen Champion Pro. It is easily under $4000.

My Dad just bought an 8' Brunswick Brookstone - its all solid wood as opposed to a veneer. 1" slate. Completely installed, with 4 cues, Aramith balls, and other accessories for a click over $3000. It was not on sale ... thats the everyday dealer price. Its a phenominal table for the money ...

Get the Olhausen. Well under 4000.00 if you shop around. Also, in humid climates, you should have a de-humidifier . Moisture will slowly damage any table.I live in Dallas and man is it humid.
I have a Kasson, and I love it!
It cost me 2300.00 delivered and set up, all accessories were included.
Got it from http://www.pooltablemover.com
I watched it being put together, and it is definatly overbuilt.
good luck
