Hi Sid, this one works really good for me. You can get weekly updates and everything for free. Give it a Try.

Hi Sid,

http://housecall.antivirus.com

This does a scan from their website. I actually use their main product PC-cillin, which is very good as it also checks my email while its still on the mail server and deletes mail messages with viruses before they get anywhere near my machine. This is not free though, its around $40. Does all updates automatically when I am online.

Here's another free one that I've been using:

I got the one from grisoft and I'll try that one also.

Sid I agree with Brakenrun. http://www.grisoft.com
It is free and updates are regular. You just need to set you preferences for a regular update. I also use zone alarm, the free version. It has picked up on strange code also. www.zonelabs.com. (http://www.zonelabs.com.) The price is right and good programs. To date, knock on wood, I've never had a virus, but not for lack of trying, by the Dick heads.
