I don't have a name for my cues, any of my vehicles, or my kayak. The only inanimate object I've named is my house, which is Shangri-La. I'd be curious to find out if anyone who has named a cuestick has also named other things they own.

Good evening:

I am certain that you will all get a kick out of this one. I refer to my cue, the one I bring to the taverns (not my Meucci SE12) as "Zena" - Warrior Princess! The cue is one of the Player Gothic Castle Serious. Awesome artwork!

Cuemage, I've been sea kayaking for a couple of years now in and around NY Harbor, the Hudson River and Jamaica Bay, with a little ocean surfing thrown in. We dodge the ferries and tugboats and other traffic and ride their wakes. We paddle out to and around the Statue of Liberty and to Swinburne Island where last year a local paddler spotted the first seal in NY Harbor that's been seen in many a year. I will get around to trying some WW one of these summers. I'm not into cold water. I like to cool off after a hot day roofing. PM me for more.

Once in a while I have an affectionate, profane name for the cue or object ball{S}, but no naming of the cues. Just dont see any reason to name them.

I refer to my cue as Elizabeth but not for any particular reason. Just being goofy! Fred

I have never called a cue by any pet name, nor have I known anyone to do so. If they did, I would certainly never invite them on a camping trip!

Name of my cue...Yvonne, {its a long story}. Cueball has several names...Whitey, Snowy or Snowball, Myrtel, Orfellia and Lightning, but when I make the 8/9-Ball on the smash I yell out "GIN!!!"

Voodoo...yelled GIN twice last night

Kato
04-04-2002, 08:34 AM
The first time I heard Voodoo say that I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I try to yell "Yahatzee!!!!!!!" but usually mess up and yell "nine-ball".

My dog is named Lucky, I don't call anybody by their real names. I either shorten everything or use nicknames. My car is "The Green Hornet".

Kato~~~I don't make the nine much so I think up alot of stupid stuff.

When the 9 goes in on the break around here I usually yell something like..."C.C....you lucky sumbitch, ya did it to me again!!"

Tom,

When we bought our house 16 years ago, it had a hand-painted sign over the front door that named the house "The Shamrock Lodge". It was originally owned by an Irish mother with two daughters and the house passed to both doughters and then we bought it after the second daughter went into a home at the age of 90. Oh yeah, it's very green on the outside. So was most of the interior until we "fixed" that.

I don't really have a name for my cue. I have referred to it as "My Buddy", but I have used that name for a host of personal objects, including my racing scull and just about every car I owned. I call my new car, "The Beast". It looks it, anyway.

Hope to see you this weekend!

Barbara~~~home with allergies and bad sinuses...

Hi Barbara, I have a Shamrock plant that my G.G.G.G.G. Grandmother brought over here from Ireland! Only have names for my boat, "Tease" and my computer, "Prick" and uh, a certain part of my hubby's anatomy, "Mobey" LMAO, BTW, try some fresh ginger tea for those sinuses, works great!
Gayle in Md., hopes Barbara feels better....

i do know that the good folk at predator cues named their shooting machine "iron willie" which i sorta thought would be a good name for a viagra knockoff.

Chris trying to find a cue ball that cooperates is just as hard as trying to find an understanding wife! lol Of course I imagine women have a similar problem.
