Good morning:
If you are in need of a "Dial Up" provider, check out WWC / Wireless Web Connect at www.wwc.com (http://www.wwc.com)
They also have CDPD wireless services.

What does that make it cost now? If you had ATT $5.95 plan and it doubled, then you'd pay less than my tab each monty, $20. Now if it's a $39.95 cable modem connection going to eighty then you have a question to ask. Which answer is it???sid~~~finds his twenty bucks well worth it the way he surfs
The days when ISP's give it away thinking they will make money by selling ads, are fast coming to a close. I just finished shopping around for a replacement to my AT&T. My rate will go to $14.95 as of May 8 - that includes unlimited dialup internet and long distance at $.07/minute. The long distance plan is priced seperately at $3.95, so my internet will be $11. The cheapest ISP I found is "access4less.com" at $5.95/mo. Most others are at least $8.95. The so-called "free" services are just too limited for me.
I found for my area all of the other cheaper services have far fewer local access numbers than AT&T. I have had pretty good service and very few problems getting a connection during busy times, so I decided to stay with them.
The url is:

It has an $8 setup and who knows how long it will be $5.95. Seems like it might work. I'll try it after my fourth free month from Walmartconnect is up.
Could you list the $8.95 ones? I think Juno and Netzero are $9.95 and Walmartconnect is $9.94.
You can get 10 hours for free from Netzero and I don't know how many free from Juno. Juno cut me off once for staying on a couple hours.
I don't get anything from "wireless web connect".

The $8.95 ISP I remember was bluelight.com ....brought to you by K-Mart. Given K-Mart's finances, it's anybody's guess how well supported this service is or will remain.
