I received a challenge from a player from The Ladder recently, the first time I've had one in years. Does anybody here participate in these? I remember it being fun, nice way to meet other players too...sid

Sid - never heard of it. Care to elaborate?

DG - who's been on ladders, under ladders, hit by ladders, but never propositioned by a ladder

DG,

Sid's a tequila drinker. It doesn't come as a surprise to some of us that he talks to ladders. He really likes the tall, slim, aluminum models but can be seen occasionally tossing a bone to the older wooden ones.

Ken

Thanks Rackmup - I don't do Tequila but will do rum, Seagrams 7, Jim Beam, and beer.

DG - who thinks beer is so much than a breakfast drink

With that criteria, Sid just might introduce you to one of his ladders.

Ken

This site explains how these Ladder competitions work. I wondered if it was still up and running, since I hadn't been contacted nor made a visit to that site for years. I thought maybe it(On-Line Ladders) was more of a buzz word with US players, guess not. Thanks,,,sid
