Happy Birthday, Ken. Hope you have a nice day and treat yourself to something more tasty than coffee and caramel rolls. /ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Just got off the phone with him. As usual he's in fine spirits and looking forward to his next trip to South Florida. Couldn't imagine why, it's miserable here in August.

Kato~~~Happy Birthday Ken

Have a great one Ken!

45 years old, what a wonderful age, now on the down hill slide to 50, hair begins to turn grey and fall out, stomach no longer resists the pull of gravity and young chicks look past you at the pool hall.

But look on the bright side, very soon you will begin to reap the vast benefits that AARP offers!!!!!!!

Seriously, have a Happy Birthday and may your future be bright!!!!!

08-11-2003, 11:00 AM
congrats old timer /ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif
so what have you learn new about life and pool over the last year?

Wendy my dear...your about 25 years away from needing a AARP card = American Association of Retired Persons!!

08-11-2003, 01:37 PM
45 eh? Do the balls look as clear as they once did? Ah, don't worry about it, there a lot more clear than they will be 5 years from now. LOL Happy 45th Ken, your just an older pup! /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Bro, you have to remember, she's doesn't live in the nation's Retirement Home(Florida). You know, 10 million refrigerated half-corpses, waiting to die /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Most of you know I'm a long way from home and still somewhat of a stranger to this huge state of Texas. Those days that are celebrated by most just don't have the same "feeling" when you are not surrounded by family and friends.

Your birthday wishes mean more to me than you can possibly ever know. Your friendships, however shared, either in person or just here at the CCB mean a lot to me as well. My heart is touched and I am in sincere appreciation of your well wishes.

OPC...you have been a terrific friend. Thanks for the call this morning.

Kato...what can I say? I appreciate the conversation today.

And to the rest of you:

May God shine brightly on your lives, I pray that He brings you the happiness each of you so greatly deserve and that He keeps each of you and your loved ones healthy and prosperous until someday we all shall meet.

In heartfelt gratitude and appreciated friendship,

Ken Kingan

Happy Birthday Ken!!

Happy Birthday from North Carolina, Ken. What's this 4AM biz? Lock /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif

<blockquote><font class="small">Quote rackmup:</font><hr> "The Birthday Boy"<hr /></blockquote>Howdy,

I just thought I'd make one last ditch effort to entice you one more time out to PettyPoint Pool Hall so that you can make good on your promise to come out and play on the Diamond Pro before it's too old and ugly to appreciate... /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Make plans to come out on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend (which is in August!) and I'll get you a birthday cake and make people sing to you! Of course, bring OPC and CayoticWoman with you too. Other CCBers nearby are also welcome and invited.

SPetty~~~ the guest room upstairs is finished, so plan to stay overnight and I'll buy your beer (since you're allergic /ccboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif to tequila).

(Really, he says he's allergic... says it gives him a headache and makes his stomach upset! hahaha)

Ken just loves to wake up as early as possible just so he can drive around in his "Mouse Car"

08-11-2003, 06:58 PM
Happy Birthday Ken ... best wishes.. and may you find an "All you can Eat" place that makes you happy..

08-11-2003, 10:19 PM

The problem is Saturdays are my busiest days at work. It's hard to get the day off when the office expects me to be there /ccboard/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I will be in Florida for a week (Aug. 19-23) and that makes it even tougher.

Ken (but I'll take the cake. Everyone says I take the cake)

08-12-2003, 03:39 AM
And many more!

Happy Birthday Ken! I take offense at OPC saying that now you'll start going gray, lose your hair, stomach can't hold up anymore. I'm a year younger and this has been happening to me for the past two years.LOL Maybe I should be sent to the glue factory or put out to pasture. Anyway hope you have a good day and get lucky this evening.

DG - who's been going gray

08-12-2003, 11:02 AM
OPC should talk! His hair has more "salt and pepper" in it than a soul food restaurant has on its tables.

OPC isn't just a member of the AARP, he's a Platinum level member.

OPC's Social Security number is 000-00-0028.

I do have to admit, OPC isn't overweight and does entertain his fair share of the ladies.
