GC4 pockets in a GC1

When I purchased my GC1, the dealer (yes I bought if from a dealer, but he also stripped the paint and refinished the wood) told me that if I wanted he would include GC4 pockets. I was skeptical, but he assured me it would work. Well, when the table arrived there they were, the new MUCH larger pockets and they fit like they were made for it.

I don't know how difficult it is to get these pockets, but I thought this would be of interest.

This is interesting, i would not have given it half a chance. What do you mean by "large"? Do the aprons of the pocket meet the surface of the rails flat?

By large I mean it can hold 9 balls. If by aprons you mean the lip at the top of the pocket, it does fit flat against the rails and the screw holes line up. But since it is a GC1 and doesn't have the cut out in the rails for the flush mount pockets, the lip of the pockets rest on the rails not in and at the same level like the GC4.
