In Uk 8ball pool, you have a minute to play each shot

I just wondered why there is no shot time limit in 9ball ?

even if it's 3 mins or so

Because if there was, a ton of pros would get dq'd. /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif
When a contest is on tv, they have a shot clock.
When it's not ( except the WPBA), shot clock is not usually enforced.

I think the shot clock has a good purpose,...in league play, I have seen someone(on my team) take 7 minutes to figure out a bank, only to miss. I commented about how he took so long and then only to miss,..what was the point.

For the most part the shot clock, where I play now in tournaments), the players are at such a high level, that they would never approach the time limit, especially Tommy.

Tommy only strokes one time, everytime and pulls the trigger.
