Your grip on the golf club should be similar to how you hold a pool cue when playing billiards.

Thanks for the link.
Many, including me have said that for years. Chi Chi Rodriguez used his hands a lot playing golf. He under stood the value of a light grip to work the ball. Johnny Miller is another advocate of a light grip, I'm sure there are many more.

Playing pool can't be that simple. There has to be more, it can't be as simple as holding the cue light. Well I'm here to tell you if you don't choke the chicken your game is going to improve. That is whether you want it to or not. /ccboard/images/graemlins/grin.gif It is one of the, or the most important aspect of a cueing motion. It is your link to holding the handle. Over 2/3 rds, (and thats very forgiving) of the pool playing population has this problem. That's at least two (2) of three (3) people playing today. How's your grip?
