I just went online to billiards express.com site and got a Predator shaft for 15% OFF !!! They have a mega special or something going on where any APA members get 15% off their entire order. AND I got my shipping free since a bought over $200.00 worth of stuff. All of you fellow APA members better get it while the gettin' is good!

Would anyone mind terribly if a poster who actually contributes something other than an advertisement for their business/job simply add a link in their signature file?

My personal opinion is that if you contribute, do whatever you want, as long as you aren't imposing bull$hit ads at us.

Fred

P.S. I'm a big fan of http://www.billiardsexpress.com. I've recommended them in the past, and will continue in the future.

I wouldn't mind. It's this kind of BS that turns me off. Similar to the magazine and someone pretending to be a customer. You can see through it like a clear glass window.
1 post = no contribution = BS add.

DO NOT LET THE APA TRICK YOU!

Just as the Vegas prize money is cut in half (yet the declaration is disguised by fine print), so too, is this a SCAM.

While the advertised discount is 15%, it is actually 7.5% and then you only receive half of your order! Of course, you will not be made aware of this until your order arrives and all you have is a shaft and no butt! A table with no pockets! A bridge head with no slots!

It doesn't stop there! This APA affiliate will only pay half of the postage to ship your order, meaning your order will need to be picked up several hundred miles from your home!

Once you locate your order, discover it is only half of what you ordered and at a discount of half of what you were led to believe, it will be too LATE!

The delivery guy will be halfway back to his warehouse, your money will be halfway to the affiliates bank and you will be half out of gasoline due to the long drive just to discover you got all-the-way ripped off!

Regards,

Ken (not even telling a half-truth!)

My wife and I enjoy playing in the APA. I was just trying to share what she discovered, called me at work and gave me the heads up on their sale. I've bought many times from the billiards express company over the last few years, and so far I've had no problems except them selling out of the NFL ball set I got, but did get after 5 days
delay. But they called us to let us know about it. And it sounds like you are a disgruntled former APA player. Our team just got back from Vegas and we all had a ball. Pool is not always about the $$$$$ you know.

I'm a disgruntled current APA player!

Seriously, I like the APA. The sandbagging doesn't bother me in respect to the opponents I play. As a s/l-6, I have the chance to beat just about anyone I match up with (and visa-versa.)

I am disheartened however by the effects the sandbagging has on the less-skilled players on my (and other) teams.

Glad you had fun in Vegas. I've been there several times and the tournament is a blast.

Ken

LOL, my virus protection is going off like crazy when I go to the BilliardsExpress website. The file being detected is malware5115.exe and it is detected as CoreFlood.
