View Full Version : The Nine Lives of Fritz the Cat
I just ordered it on DVD for $29.99, I have not seen it since junior high school.
I love this flick! figures.
"Horny, drug-smoking Fritz the Cat longs for the days when he wasn't reliant on Welfare money to feed his habit."

This is a classic for it's time. I think it was rated X when it first came out. By todays standards it is PG-13.

That and Bakshi's "Heavy Traffic" are both great, uplifting family favorites!
Great pool scene when Fritz goes uptown to shoot with the crows ...
yeah Keith, i barely remember the pool scene.
can't wait to get the DVD in the mail.

As I recall, he's being wide-eyed whitey in a divey bar ... getting all excited, "I'm in a BAG! I'm in a BAG!" Then shots ring out, and over on the table, balls fall into the pockets with each of the last beats of an old crow's heart. Hope I'm not spoiling the drama!
Bahahaha thats it, what you have the movie handy? /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I remember the important stuff! Think I rented it last year.
This kind of information, along with a growing number of pool shots that I can hardly make, is crowding out all kinds of $hit in both long- and short-term memory, though. /ccboard/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
hah well just remember to stay down and follow through.
Oh and always wear a rubber /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif
