Imperial Cue

Has anybody heard of an Imperial Cue?

Someone gave it to a friend of mine who said its been sitting in an attic for years.
Can't find any info on it.
It doesn't look to fancy, it has red and white striped wrap
and a brass joint that looks similar to an old dufferin.
