Dont know about this one, but I have used the glass rod from cue dr for years, good to be able to remove a ding during play, you get this from the Mueller sporting goods catalog now. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I have seen the glass rod, how is it supposed to work ?
Does it create enough heat to make the fiber expand ???

If that is what it does, I would stay away from the product... It changes the shape of the shaft, that can't be good !!!
That would be my guess. It makes it appear, or feel, like the dent is not as bad. I've done that with just my fingernail by pressing firm.
