Did any of you read the article about PH Junkies. Everyone acted like it was a great movie at the screeing and several people said it was better than The Color of Money.

What article?

Ken, he refers to an article by Tom Shaw in the latest (April) Pool & Billiards magazine. The article leads one to believe that the movie will be released at the end of the summer. BTW, I'm headed your way in a couple of weeks. Maybe I'll run into you (metaphorically speaking) in Big D.

Email me when you are here and perhaps we can get some of the other DFW area CCB'ers (Sid, SpiderMan, Ward, etc.) together and bang 'em around at Click's.

Did I hear Ken say he was giving all of us the wild 7 and the breaks playing for drinks during Bill's visit? ;-) sid~~~

Leaving Kentucky and going to Texas.. ?

Does that mean you'll be raising the intelligence level in both states?

Sounds like a nice trip.. maybe one day I'll be able to swap games and stories in person with the CCB'ers in Texas..

Raising the intelligence level in both states? So you are implying that I am below the average intelligence in KY, but above in Texas? Gee, people down in Texas aren't going to be too happy with that remark....But I guess you figured they would be too slow to understand the implications of your comment?

I think I made my point in the 1st post..

Good luck on your trip.... and please be safe.. Rackmup is hitting everything on the road there.. either he is accident prone or a very good driver..

It was either the wild 7 and the pops or 8 to 3 one-hole and our scratches don't count. Either way, maybe we should discuss it over dinner on Saturday, May 4.

Tom is one COLD dude! Mean even.

04-12-2002, 09:43 PM
Well Bill you might be able to do that in a small area, but doubtful. No disrespect to anyone. I have a question Bill, did you go through high school in Colorado? The reason I ask is, I did and the H/S reunion is comming up. Just curious.

I'll be out of town, weather permitting through that particular weekend. How long you going to be in Dallas???sid~~~does not play 1-hole

Lorri, you are absolutely correct, we have changed the topic of the thread without renaming it or starting a new thread. Us old guys have minds that wander...please forgive us! I realize now that it would be totally inappropriate for me to use this thread to say to Rod that I DID go to school in Colorado (7th grade and my senior year in college at the University of Denver), but didn't go to high school there.

Sid, I'll be in Texas May1-8, but moving around to Ft.Worth, Austin and Dallas. In Dallas May 2-5 and May7-8.
