View Full Version : Talisman Case has Arrived!

My Talisman 2x4 case arrived yesterday afternoon. Tony shipped it Fed Ex from Thailand. What a great case! He let me pick anything I wanted including his brand new case design. Yep, That's what I selected. It has a ton of great features including a big draw string case for the entire bag and smaller drawstring bags for use in the two larger pockets. Fine leather tooling and overall great attention to detail. Thank you again Tony.

My pictures don't really do it justice.

Forgot to mention that the Talisman Case I received was donated by Tony Jones to the 2nd Annual CCB Tournament at the US Open. I was lucky enought to win this great case.
See Tony's Web Site (http://www.talismanbilliards.com) for a description of his great cases, tips, and other fine products.

Thanks for all the kind words on our new case. This is a brand new style and Dave is certainly the first person in Canada to have one. I am just arranging for the first shipment to be sent to the US, they should go out today or tomorrow. Sometime next week I will be running a special introductory offer for these new cases, there will only be 10 for sale (5 black and 5 brown), if you want to be informed when this offer begins, then please sign up for my newsletter by Clicking here (http://www.talismanbilliards.com/NewsSubscribe.asp)

That looks like a sweetheart kind of a case!! I like the littlest pouch - perfect for chalk, the middle pouch - perfect for your slightly larger items that you don't want discolored from chalk (and your fingers from digging into it), and the large pouch that could probably hold the handle of your jump cue (if you knew how to use one, I don't, so I only carry the shaft), plus a towel or two.
Damn, now you have me thinking about a new case.
Hey Tony!! Any chance you'll be at the SB Expo next year???
Plus, I want to know that if I accidently drive over your case with my Trans Am, will my cues be safe? (Leepin Leenie, feel free to jump in and talk about the "Instroke incident")
Barbara~~~and still wondering why the BCA moved their date up to the following weekend... they can't be that ignornant about the implications, can they???

I'll be at the BCA trade show in March and then probably at the BCA championships in Vegas in May. It would be great to meet you.
If you accidently drove over a Talisman cue case your cues would be safe but the case would need a replacement molded interior. In tests we found that the mold would not stand up to such extreme weights but that it compressed and still protected the cues inside.
I now have a limted number of the new cases in stock in the US and have a special introductory deal on them on my web site CLICK HERE (http://www.talismanbilliards.com/TribalCueCases.asp) for details.

I won't be at the BCA Trade Show, but I'm trying to convince my other half that we should go to Vegas in May.
Any chance there will be a Talisman booth at the Super Billiards Expo?
Barbara~~~hasn't bought anything "new" in over two years and is due!

I am working to get representation at most of the major shows and tourneys next year. I won't be able to travel to all myself but Talisman products should be available.
Hope to see you in Vegas in May.

Nice looking cases Tony! I just don't have the caps for anything right now, plus I could better justify buying a truly waterproof case to use on my motorcycle. Any ideas???sid

I just got one of your cases from Tim for the Lucasi Tour. That thing is BEAUTIFUL!! I am thinking of making it the prize for first place in the points race on our tour this year. I can't imagine any pool player not falling in love with it! Thank You!

Well Sid, I'm marketing a wonderful new product that fits your situation perfectly. This is a disposable cue case water-proofer, I like to call "The Dry Bag". Contact me for details. Thanks.

I have that in black. Believe me, water will find the inside of a Porper in a driving rain with 6 of those dudes wrapped around them. I've considered a brand called Americase & one from Haliburton, and may have to go that route someday...sid

Do you remember seeing the travel case I made from PVC? It's a lot like that other case made from PVC (but a lot cheaper if you do it yourself). Maybe something like that would work...

Okay, that's it!
Tony, who's going to be selling your wares at the Super Billiards Expo?
