Anyone ever played with a Mark Bear cue? I know that Bustamante plays with one, or use to play with one. Does he still? Anyways, just curious about opinions. He sells sneaky petes that are very reasonable prices and I was considering one.

I was going to post this exact same query.
I'm pretty sure the Bear Cues Bustamante uses is a completely different cue maker. Bear Cues is a sub-company of Falcon Cues. I think they are primarily sold overseas. That what I gather from the internet anyway.
But I am curious about the Mark Bear cues, I was looking at getting an Ebony sneaky pete from him.

I just recently bought a Bear sneaky pete, and put a medium moori tip on it and I love it. Bustamante does still play with these cues by the way. The sneaky pete i bought was 220 euro. But with my league discount and vat form it was 173 euro, about $200. But like I said I am very satisfied with it and highly suggest the cue.

That is really interesting, didn't know that. I can't seem to find any info about the Bear Cues from Germany. What's the web page?

I've never found a website for Bear Cues themselves.

i currently play with a Mark Bear cue and i like it better than any cue ive ever owned, which include many factory production cues and several customs including Scruggs.......i dont know how else to describe the hit besides the cliched "solid", but i will try....from the minute i played with one, i just felt more confident at the table, as if that was the feel in a cue that i'd been looking for.....i got a Predator shaft for my most recent Bear (my third) and i am very content with it.......its also nice to have your cuemaker only a half hour away as well, and before you ask, NO, i do not get a commission for this endorsement......i will try to post a pic of my cue later today if anyone is interested

its not simple to post a pic on here like it is at azbilliards, and i dont really feel like figuring out how to right now........if someone can tell me easily how to post a pic from a digital camera then you can see my cue.........if not, no big deal.......its a very simple, yet very unique looking cue that i didnt have to rob a bank to be able to afford

If you like you can email the pic to me and I'll be glad to post it for you.
