Finnally I figured out how to make this shot... I missed cued so bad playing this shot short (4 rails) and the result was an eye opener. after several attempts i started to nail it down. /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif

BTW, are you from NYC, nAz? If so, I'd think you must know Wei.

nAz, I just got to ask, what is happening with this shot? Am I not seeing something obvious? You say 4 rails but where and where does the c/b start? /ccboard/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Hey Rod sorry about the confusion, lets see if i can make it worse /ccboard/images/graemlins/wink.gif

err uh lets see CB is yellow and first OB is whitey I played the shot by hitting the rail first then the white OB, the hit can be made by three rails or possibly four. BTW it seems the way to make this shot consistently is by hitting the first OB fuller then you would think. I was trying to play it this way originally short way (dumb way)... START(

)END
or sometimes the long way with very little side (dumbway2) START(

I figured that if you play a lot of billiards, and he hangs with billiard players (Ira Lee), that you may have run into him here or there.

When I pointed him out to CarolNYC, she said, "hey, I know him!" Could be that everyone from the City who posts to the CCBoard has met him, but don't realize WEI is the Wei who hangs out at Corner Billiards.

Rod

This might be dreadfully obvious, but you did open the WEI Billiard Table, not Pool Table, right?

Fred you Know Ira I would play pool with him when he went to RPI. He had a bad habit of jumping up on the shot then. I hope Sang Lee cured him of that.

I am going to have to email him, there is a snooker player from China attending RPI whose playing is very good. ####

I'm not a 3C player, so I'm completely out of my league here, but how about this option? Could this work?

Oh, ok, Fred guessed it, I didn't know it was a billiard shot. When you open it on a wei pool table, it doesn't make any sense. Good shot by the way.

Q I have tried that way but i have had a hard time playing similars shots, i guess i need to practice it more. Did you know you can make the shot this way too, i have made it before but its too easy to miss it, but looks so damn cool /ccboard/images/graemlins/smile.gif
