Any Success at Sanhain? (Halloween)

Did anyone make any contacts with the deceased this Samhain (http://www.solitaryhaven.com/Samhain.htm)? I tried a couple of times, but got nothing. A witch told me that sometimes the person your calling is not near the portal.
