A sad day
Just wanted those of you who knew him that Rich Rhoads passed away today after a battle with brain cancer.
I spoke to his wife Cathy today, the doctors say he didn't suffer.
Please keep Cathy and her family in her thoughts and prayers through this very trying time.
I'll miss you my friend, see you on the other side.
I know Rich wanted us to keep the chin up, but this is a somber day. I'll really miss him.
One of the finest photographers of the players of our game and an even better person.
Safe journey, Rich.

Thank you for your kind thoughts and prayers.
Our fellowship has lost another great friend who reached the end of the beginning all too soon. My prayers for Cathy and all who knew Rich. RIP, Rich, and Godspeed.
How sad to know that a great friend has passed away. It was great seeing him make it to our Dinner Party and to our Annual Tournament. After the CCB tournament I was without a ride back to the Open and Cathy and Rich gave me a lift. I got to spend with them a few more moments after the fun we had at Q-Masters. He will be forever engraved in my memory. Cathy God bless you for being such a kind Human Being to all of us and to Rich. Cathy, I'm there with you in your sorrow and with all our friends in this tearful moment. We will truly truly miss him. !!!
From Mrs. Cathy Rhoads:
I want to thank all of Richís pool friends for posting such kind words. They meant a lot to me. His niece and nephews read the posts and they all said they saw a different side of their uncle and how much his life touched others. Rich valued his pool friends. I appreciate all the thoughts and prayers.
Thanks again from the bottom of my heart. I will never forget all of you.
