My first cue (yeah.. another cue post)

Hi,

I'm new to the forums (and really, to billiards/pool). I just recently discovered pool (I mean, I've played the odd game growing up..), and now I want to get better and I've heard that playing with the same cue consistantly can help.

I'm don't want to spend over $100, I just need something as good or maybe a little better than the house cues at your average pool hall.

Someone gave me a Mizerak fiberglass "Performance" cue for Christmas. Anyone have any opinions on those?

I'm thinking of using some money I get as well for a wooden cue.
