Which table if cost were not a concern?

I will be buying my first (and likely last) table and would appreciate thoughts on who makes the overall best quality, regardless of cost.

Also, does anyone have experience with American Heirloom? I really like the looks of their Laureate table, but am concerned about making a purchase such as this online.

Thanks in advance for you input.

    Marc

I would stick with the Brunswick Gold Crown, the Diamond Pro or the top of the line Connolly, sorry I don't know the model name. I don't think you could go wrong with any of these, as long as you get them properly set up. JMHO.

I bought a used Gold Crown III in 1994. I absolutely love that thing. It's been broken apart for the last 10 years though. I am getting ready to remodel the house, turning a garage into a living room/game room. I can't wait. The thing about those big commercial tables is the take a lot of space and don't look as "pretty" as others, but there's a reason why they are preferred by the professionals.

I would go with a 9' Olhausen Grand Champion. I think its a great playing table

    Hi,

I have a deposit down on American Heirloom's Scandia table (they're running a $1000 off any model sale right now). I've studied their site and they really seem to know their stuff. I've also talked to folks down their several times and had them send me wood finish samples and cloth samples and they are always helpful and knowledgeable, so I think they are legit. I'll post again when my table arrives to let everyone know how it all went.

Why do you have a problem with the GC3 or 4? Just curious. I love my GC3, and will probably never part with it. I would love to have a 25 table pool room loaded with them, but that is not really cost effective.

If price was not an option. Brunswich GC, or top of the line Olhausen.
