Question regarding Minnesota Fats MFH46 Pool Cue
Hi Everyone. Absolute newb here with a an abosolute newb question about this pool cue. I purchased it through Amazon and have a question about it. It has a 13mm LePro tip, do I need to add a ferrule/tip to it or do I use it as is? I've only used cues from local billiard halls and the tips on their cues don't look like the one on this cue. I purchased slip on Ferrule/tips and they fit but they are a bit loose and I don't know if they are necessary.
Here is a link to the cue I purchased:

The ferrule/tips I got are similar to these but they are Miz brand:

I apologize for my newbiness. Please help.
Thanks a lot!

The tip on your new cue is better than the slip-on tips you are used to playing with. Your newly purchased slip-on ferrules and tips are unnecessary and inferior.
Enjoy your new cue!
