Wanna play with Efren? No I don't mean against him. We want you to have a chance. How about playing in a celebrity doubles tournament with Efren against other world famous 9-Ball players and helping The Los Angeles Youth Network(LAYN)?
Or maybe you'd like to partner up with Johnny or Mika?
Well, the Celebrity 9-Ball Challenge, Tuesday night at the Normandie Casino, is just the party for you. The United States Pool Players Association (UPA) has created an opportunity for the Los Angeles pool playing community to compete in a 9-Ball doubles tournament to benefit LAYN; a non profit organization which helps abused, neglected, and homeless adolescents become self sufficient.
Through an auction process winning bidders will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to partner with pool idols the likes of Efren Reyes, Francisco Bustamante, Jose Parica, Johnny Archer, Mika Immonen, Charlie Williams, and other UPA professionals. All proceeds will benefit LAYN.
Winners don't just get bragging rights, prizes will be awarded courtesy of the charity.
You can also win a seat in the Pro Event: Amateur Event, UPA Qualifier Pool Tournament Seat, $50.00 Entry Fee. Winner will win paid entry to UPA U.S. Pro Tour Championship compliments of LAYN.
There is a poker tournament too so you can also win some cash.
Don't miss this jam packed night of pool and poker entertainment and help a few underprivileged kids along the way.
See you there.
