    Freedom!

The peaceful Muslim Brotherhood ... that's what the Obots assured us ... has exposed itself as exactly what the thinking class knew it to be, a thugocracy using terroristic tactics of rape squads, torture, and beatings.

Mubarak was far from a nice guy, but he was a stabilizing force of peace in the region.

Much like Carter deposing the Shah with what he called an "ISLAMIC GANDHI" we have no turned Egypt over to the jihadis.

No, rape squads, torture and beatings are not terrorist tactics. Terrorist tactics are killing and bombing innocent bystander civilians to change a national or political policy. Your switch of meanings is not very clever. Political oppression is not terrorism, and would not get a country on the State Dept. terrorist state list per se, by itself.

However, if you insist it is the correct use of the word, Mubarak was then also a terrorist or a person using terrorist tactics, as there is nothing new in Egypt about rape squads, torture and beatings. In fact the MB was the victim of exactly that treatment for decades, as their party was outlawed and denied participation in the country's form of government, per se.

So the MB isn't trying to influence national policy through rape squads and beatings?

Crude and violent repression of political dissent is common around the world, and is never deemed terrorism. Was Mubarak's Egypt on our State Dept's list of terrorist nations?

Your willingness to make excuses is appalling.

Dude, I'm excusing nothing. I'm discussing standard definitions.

Your insistence that words should mean new things apparently solely based upon your whimsy and caprice is now boring and well known. And your suggested new meanings for words are no more valid now than when I first mentioned this problem you have probably two years ago.

If you perhaps have a bad vocabulary, that's still no reason to use words you don't understand incorrectly as a replacement.
