So who wants an estate tax?

Do you? I certainly don't. At first I thought it was just another wealth redistribution scam from the demosocialists, which it is, but there is more to it than that.

It's the insurance companies that want it and they are the reason it got passed. The insurance companies are going to sell you insurance policies that will pay your estate taxes for you. They are already writing up the policies. There's an insurance executive on TV right now, talking about what a boon it is going to be for his business.

    Another democrat sellout.

What is wrong with this insurance executive? Why did he wait so long to come up with this business idea?

Well ... since Obama and the democrooks are backing the insurance industry, it's time for Gee to declare them to be republicans as she did with the Westboro Baptists and boy buggerer Eddie Long.

I have to ask, are you on drugs? Where do you get this crap from?

    I guess you missed this.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Now that Congress seems poised to eviscerate the estate tax, the task of finding these mythical estate tax victims is going to be even harder. The tax cut compromise moving through Congress would exempt all estates with assets valued at under $5 million and $10 million for couples. With the exemption raised to these levels, <span style='font-size: 26pt'>only the largest 3,600 estates in the country will pay any estate tax;</span> the other 99.86 percent of estates will be entirely exempt. </div></div>

So, the <span style='font-size: 20pt'>ENTIRE MARKET in the USA is a POTENTIAL 3,600 customers! </span>

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> Estimates by the Tax Policy Center show that only <span style='font-size: 26pt'>fifty small farm and business owners in the entire country will pay any estate tax next year under the new framework, </span>and they would pay an average rate of just 7.4 percent. <u>If they actually exist, these fifty farms and businesses can probably avoid the tax altogether with only a little bit of estate planning and so can many estates well in excess of $5 million.</u></div></div>

All this crap about poor farmers having to sell their buisness because of the estate tax is total BS. The one's it really hits are the super rich. That's why the GOP is willing to hold the whole country hostage.

    Q...check your facts.

    Q
Remarkable. You leak a story, and then you quote the story. I mean, that's a remarkable thing to do

What difference does it make who it steals from?

By your logic, if I see a dead rich guy it's OK for me to steal his Rolex ... but not a middle class guy's Seiko or a poor guy's Timex.

Do you ever follow the party Bravo Sierra to it's logical conclusion?

They did not build that wealth through inheritance and I gaurantee you the Government will not get very much from their estates. They start breaking up their estate and giving it away long before Uncle Sam can steal it. It is the ones that could not afford to continue life as usual if they were to break up parts and give away that will get hit. You can bet a well to do farm will lose their butt to the government long before Gates or Buffet will.
