Are you really THAT jealous of America, Mack? I can assure you that Americans aren't even thinking about your country, so whjy are you so obsessed with our country? You'd better spend your time worrying about your own country, Mac. G.
Gayle, I don't hate theusofa, I hate the people. Az everyone knows I hate superstitious ignorant selfish pink arsed apes everywhere. Thusly I hate society in general.

    mac.

I don't hear you writing those things about the people in your own country, Mac.

I don't see you writing it's time for Oz to die? What would suit you, everyone on the planet, dead?

    Pathetic!

Nothing good about being such a total pesimist, Mac, and it doesn't make you appear to be more intelligent. Anyone can curse the darkness, rather than light a candle, that's easy.

Is THAT what you think strong people do?

    Incredible!

Ozz iz like theusofa. I hav fondness for the natives, ie aborigines, ie injuns etc. Its the conquerors that I don't like.

    mac.

Natives, ie aborigines, ie injuns etc. were just as cutthroat as the rest.

There are wonderful people who live on this earth, Mac. I've known manny of them, in fact, I am married to one of them, and my daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, mother and father were all wonderful people.

It's really a shame that you seem totally unaware of how many truly good people there are in the world.

    Your loss.

Gayle -- yes there are wonderfull people. Sadly I am somewhere in between, I don't meet my own standards.
But I would prefer a lesser number of wonderfull people. What I mean iz that overpopulation iz overpopulation, allbeit not so bad if wonderfull people do their best to limit their effekt on the planet, ie on the future.

Yes, I totally agree. Too many people have children they can't take care of, and shouldn't really have them in the first place.

If only those who are not really sold on the idea of having children would get surgery to prevent pregnancy, both men and women, that would do a lot to reduce over population.

If only the USA would set up hospitals performig those sugeries for free, all around the world where vast populations are starving, that would help tremendously, as well.

But if anny country tried to do that every nutjob religious idiot in the world would be outraged.

As I said, organized religion doesn't allow for critical thinking skills.

And corporations don't care about poisoning people, starving people, promoting slavery, and destroying the planet in general.

If Corporations want to be "a person" then we should be able to jail the entire top level of any corporation, and the Chairman of The Board, and the Borard of directors, as well, when we catch them doing the inhumane deeds that they do.

All of the Bush men, and Cheney and Rice should be in jail, along with Karl Rove, William Kristol, Mitt Romney, and a slew of corporate pigs all of whom lied this country into a war for their own profits.

AND if wishes were horses, we could take a nice long ride.

Sorry to hear that your wife was hurt.

Don't know how old you are, Mac, or your wife's age, either.

I just turned 69. I consider this my pornographic birthday, LOL.

I have a lot of friends who think they can do the same things they did when they were young, now. some of them not far from my age. I tell them, oh yeah, you CAN do that, just know that you may never heal when you have a bad accident, and it my change the entire rest of your life, as well.

As for me, I run, and work out, but no riding horseback for me! AND, I never considered riding motorcycles, far too dangerous. My sister is sixty. and she still goes skiing, even though she has a plate in her neck, has had shoulder surgery, knee surgery, and had a bad broken arm several years ago, so I tell her, "If you're going skiing, don't tell me about it. I don't want to know."

My daughter is soon to be fifty-one years old, and she grew up riding and jumping horses, and she was an expert in dressage. She was into riding English style, you know, dressage, and jumping in horse shows, riding in The Hunt, lived for her horseback riding, but now, she is having hip problems, she has already had shoulder surgery, and knee surgery, so I tell her, "If you're going to be riding and jumping horses again, don't tell me about it. I don't want to know!"

As for myself, I am lucky that the things I like to do are not dangerous. Playing piano, is pretty safe. Writing, as well, pretty safe. Gardening, safe enough for me. Spoiling my hubby, is my most favorite past time. Living up to my pornographic birthday, was the most
dangerous thing I had done in a long time, LOb

Hope Sherry heals quickly, and fully.

Thanx Gayle I (66yrs young) will pass that on to sherie (62yrs young). All her horsey girlfriends hav multiple old and new fractures of everything.
Me myself I will stick to billiards. But even here I sleep badly koz I hav a sore shoulder from chainsawing trees every day for 2weeks (mainly fixing my neighbours tree problems), and billiards praktis now hurts (and I hav a tournament this weekend).

Too many people these days are in total denial about their age. I see it all around me. While we can do many of the things we've always done, we have to prepare ourselves for exercise, which means regularly lifting light weights, and stretching before we perform strenuous activities. I am about to shovel six yards of compost into my gardens, but I won't life the first shovel until I work out, stretching before, AND after my workout. As we age we have to take care of our bodies, annd if we don't, our bodies won't take good care of us.

    Good luck in the tournament.
