George Zimmerman “Broke and Homeless”
July 12, 2014
Infamous racist and child murderer George Zimmerman is on the ropes, and it couldn’t have happened to a more deserving guy.
One brief year ago, Zimmerman was acquitted of the brutal murder of unarmed teen Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman became a poster boy for racists around the nation during his trial. Funds from supporters flowed into his legal defense war chest, at one time topping over $400,000. This considerable sum has now dwindled to a meager $300.00, according to The Orlando Sentinel.
Zimmerman claims that he spends $3,304 a month, despite having no employment or other means of income. His assets consist of a 2008 Toyota pick-up truck. In a financial affidavit filed last week in his divorce case, Zimmerman claims to spend $350.00 a month on medical expenses and an additional $200.00 a month for “mental health and psychiatric” care. Zimmerman further attests in this document that he has no job, pays nothing for rent or mortgage, and has no health insurance. His debts amount to a staggering $2.5 million dollars, the bulk of which is owed to his legal defense counsel.
There is no mention of the $100,000.00 Zimmerman gained from a painting sold on eBay in December. According to his brother, Zimmerman shuffles among his supporters seeking shelter. I guess that libel suit against NBC didn’t quite pan out like Georgie planned.
Getting away with murder apparently isn’t as lucrative as George initially thought. Zimmerman’s face juxtaposed alongside the title of “racist” does not read well on a resume. The fawning, slathering mob of far-right wing nut conservatives who rushed to Zimmerman’s support have moved on to the next media circus. Zimmerman is discovering that his particular brand of racist hatred is not the flavor of the month anymore as his supporters, and their checkbooks, flee from his side in droves.
Ironic. Zimmerman, huddled against the chill of a winter’s night, burrows deeper into his hoodie as he stumbles across a parking lot seeking sanctuary from the cold. An alert member of the local Neighborhood Watch notices this character, acting “strangely”. He accosts the hapless subject, brandishing a pistol.
Cut to the talking heads on the Fox News Network as they heap effusive praise upon the head of the intrepid defender of the community. Rod Serling would be proud.
