You can pick up a copy of virtual pool 3 online for about 10 bucks. Great multiplayer in that, single player is decent too

www.pogo.com has a fun pool game. It is called Hammerhead Pool I believe. You can set up an account (free) and play in different experience levels against others. They even have tournaments in the evenings and weekends.

It is pretty fun, but my rating fluctuates so much I get sick watching it. I have gone from a 1967 all the down to 1650 one night in about an hour. LOL After that free fall, I set up a new table and required call shot.

I love VP3. The program seems kind of buggy at times, but really fun and realistic none the less.

carom3d.com is a sight all of you have to check out. Players from all over the world, and the game plays fairly well, much better than pogo.com or yahoo.

    Re: online pool

I loaded the game and will try playing it later on tonight. Funny thing is that my video card settings are too aggresive. It wants me to lower my settings to 16bit.

I also would like to note that I hate that the games takes over the screen instead of just a window. I am running a dual monitor setup and it screws up the second screen. Other than that, the game plays smooth but I am horrible. I wish pogo played as smooth.
