help identifying book on mental aspects of pool

    Guys
I saw a book at the BCA tournament in Vegas this year concerning mental aspects of pool. But I did not get the title or author. I can tell you what the book was like..it concerned attitudes of olympians, among others, toward competition. The book was described as helping Alex Pagalayan(sp?).
The book was kind of like a mixture of:
The inner game of tennis (Galwey),
    a mind for pool or
    Pleasures of small motions (Fancher)
BUT UNFORTUNATELY I CANT RECALL THE TITLE.
The book was a new book (written in the last 3-5 yrs)
    Thanks for your help
    Sorry to be so vague
    Bob

You should post this up on the Chalk Board thread. You're likely to get more responses. JAT

    Natural Mental Progression

It might just be me but Ive always found that some of the mental aspects seem to clear themselves up when three things happen.
    1. is shot making success
    2. is learning to spin the ball
    3. is losing because you sell out
When you do those things you can get really disgusted with yourself and that asks you to fix it with strategy. Without 1 and 2 its hard to fix 3.
