WPBA Adds October Tour Stop

The Women's Professional Billiard Tour has added a third stop to its 2010 schedule. The yet-to-be-named event will run alongside the inaugural Atlanta Billiard Show, a trade show organized and promoted by former WPBA president and current player Dawn Hopkins.

Just the third event on the Classic Tour's schedule for 2010, the Atlanta stop is scheduled for Sept. 29-Oct. 3, with the expo running from Oct. 1-3. The press release did not specify a location for the WPBA event, but the Atlanta Billiard Show will be held at the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga., just outside of Atlanta.

The women's professional event joins a growing list of events that will coincide with the trade show, including a regional APA league tournament and a stop on the Ultimate Trick Shot Tour.
